![]() Different MethodsAbove is a nifty chart that I found online. If the owner of it doesn't want it on here he or she should promptly let me know. I mean no harm by using it on here. It is only for the benefit of the restorer. A huge part of your foreskin restoration journey is choosing a method. Many restorers don't like to be confined to one way, so they have many. Here is a rundown of all the major methods that can be used. Below, each device has a description and is broken down into 5 sections: Supplies, Pros, Cons, Teenage Friendly, and Verdict. No Device/TapeManualManual restoration is the most basic way of restoring. It involves using different stretches with your hands on your penis. Click on the link above to be directed to a page on Manual Stretches. Supplies: None Pros: No device or tape is involved. Cons: It is too slow in terms of growth and too time consuming to use alone. Teenage Friendly: Yes, you need nothing! Just do it in the privacy of your room/bathroom. Verdict: Manual is a great supplement to using a device and can't be relied on solely. Taping MethodsT-tapeI am biased towards T-tape. At the moment, it is my favorite method of restoring. It is a device that can be made on your own. Picture a "T". The top portion of the "T" is sticky while the leg of the "T". The leg is what is clipped onto and then the tension strap is wrapped around your leg. Click on the title to see how to make and put on T-tape. Supplies: 1.5-2" medical tape, tension strap, scissors, and wax paper. Pros: Keeping the tape pulled over glans maintains constant coverage. This coverage is your own skin over your glans; therefore, it is like the real thing. If you have some sort of bladder condition (like me) that makes you use the bathroom frequently, it is the best device, as all you have to do is unclip and urinate, and then reclip it. Cons: Sex and masturbation can not be done without taking the tape off. Depending on what tape you use, tape-residue may be left behind. You have to keep on making T-tapes. To get a good use out of each tape, I think one should be kept on for atleast 24 hours. So that means no sex or masturbation for the duration of wearing the tape Teenage Friendly: For the most part yes. The only problems are: obtaining the tension strap and hiding the materials. It should be noted that with some creative skills, one can make his very own tension strap. Contact us for further instructions on that. Verdict: If you like real coverage by your own skin or have a bladder condition, this is the device for you. Cross-tapingThis involves tape that is 0.5" wide. You cut two small strips, each roughly a couple of inches. Then you cross tape them as shown in the pictures below. Supplies: 0.5" wide medical tape (paper/cloth whatever you like) Pros: Your own skin covers your glans, similar to the real thing. I like to think of this is "real coverage". Great for guys just beginning their restoring journey who do not have enough slack skin to start with. Cons: The adhesive will run out after so many removals; therefore, you will have to replace tape periodically. Also, this will only let you help grow skin for so long. After a certain point, this can be used only for retaining. Teenage Friendly: Yes, if you can obtain and hide your tape. Verdict: Great for beginners with out much skin. Great method of simply retaining when you don't have anything other than tape. This is great to use in addition to cross tapping. It's another variation of using 0.5" medical tape. It involves pulling up the skin over the glans and rolling a tape around the skin like a ring. Supplies: 0.5" wide medical tape (paper/cloth whatever you like) Pros: Your own skin covers your glans, similar to the real thing. I like to think of this is "real coverage". Great method of simply retaining when you don't have anything other than tape. Kitchen Funnel (Cone)This method is a doozy. I didn't know if it went under 'Tape' or 'Tugger' for it can be characterized as both. This device is made by you and not bought. This involves taking a kitchen funnel and cutting roughly one or so inch under the spout, so you are left with a cone. The cone is then smoothed with sand-paper or a nail file. At this point, the cone can be taped on. In the beginning stages of restoration, the cone can be wore alone and induce skin growth. After a few weeks, you will max out its growing potential, that is until you give it some help. The cone can be made into a tugger, drill a hole in the spout, attach a key ring, and you can use a tension strap to tug with it. It should be noted that the kitchen funnel can be bought at Walmart. I bought 2 for $1.Supplies: Kitchen funnel, hacksaw (or really sharp knife), nail file (or sandpaper), 1" medical grade tape, drill (to make into a tugger), toilet paper flapper (to make into a tapeless device), and a tension strap. Pros: This device is actually pee-though, unlike many other device. This means that you don't have to take it off to pee. You can actually make the device into a tapeless device by cutting the circle part out of a toilet flapper. Very cheap to make/use. You can buy 2 funnels at Walmart for $1 and each roll of tape from the dollar store is, well, a dollar! Cons: Honestly, I can't think of any at all. If you are a device whore like me, you will want more than this, but you can restore yourself with this device alone. Teenage Friendly: Yes, if you can get a kitchen funnel and hide your tape. Verdict: Great for someone who doesn't have the money to buy a device. Also great for a teenage boy who can't buy a device on his own. TuggersANALYSIS COMING SOON ANALYSIS COMING SOON WeightsSome restorers are completely turned off about having a half-pound+ weight hanging from their penis. Let me be just while describing the PUD. Yes, it is a heavy weight strapped to your dick. It is really only effective when standing. Though it should be noted that when sitting, the skin is still over glans. I would not completely rely on this to restore. It, like manual tugging, is a good supplement to your main method. So if you are going out on a walk or doing light outside activity that involves much standing, strap this puppy on and let gravity do its work! Supplies: 1" medical grade tape (cloth/paper your choice) and the PUD device. Pros: Supplements your primary restoring method. Sometimes it's fun to change things up. Cons: It is a heavy weight, which makes it hard to be discreet. Did I mention that it's heavy? Only effective when standing/walking. Teenage Friendly: No, this device costs around $130 and getting it would be a problem. Also, it would be very hard to wear during school as when you sit down, the ~10 oz. weight would clang on the wooden/plastic chair. Verdict: I think this is worth having in your restoration arsenal...just to change things up from time to time. ANALYSIS COMING SOON Misc.O-RingsANALYSIS COMING SOON |
